Disposal of old Buddhist altars

*1 This product page is for disposing of old Buddhist altars only.
*2 If you would like to send an ihai (mortuary tablet) or a principal image of worship together, please complete the necessary procedures such as spiritual root removal, soul removal, and closing of the eyes before sending.
*3 If you wish to have the spiritual root removal, soul removal, or eye closure ceremony, please select this from the options.
*4 We will collect the amount of Buddhist altar accessories (flower vases, incense burners, candle holders, bells, etc.) used in the altar that can fit into one package, including the disposal fee for the old altar.
*5 After your old Buddhist altar is collected, please note that the altar and any Buddhist accessories contained within (including valuables) cannot be returned.
*6 This is not a permanent memorial service, so we do not collect the memorial photograph or remains.

If you have an old Buddhist altar that you would like to dispose of, we will use Yamato Home Convenience to collect it.
